SWIFT Update September 9, 2021

Seeing Extra Tiles on Your Homepage after the Systems Upgrade?

SWIFT, including the Supplier Portal and Mobile Inventory, are available again after the SEMA4 and Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) systems upgrade. However, the SWIFT Help Desk has received several reports this week from users who now see extra tiles on their Administrative Portal Homepage. We understand this can make it difficult to navigate to SWIFT and hope to see the issue resolved soon.

SWIFT Maintenance: Sunday, Sept. 12, from 7 AM to Noon

From 7 AM to noon on Sunday, September 12, 2021, SWIFT will be unavailable while we work with MN.IT to apply a fix for this issue.

Note: After applying this fix over the weekend, users may lose their personalizations on SWIFT.

Reminder: Make sure to Clear the Cache on your Internet Browser

The SEMA4 and Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) systems upgrade went live this week on September 7. If you haven't already, make sure to clear your cache. Clearing the cache means deleting the history on your Internet browser. You should always clear the cache on your Internet browser when:

  • SWIFT pages fail to load, do not load correctly, or display the “404 Error” message.
  • There are financial management system upgrades or issues.
  • The MN.IT or SWIFT Help Desk recommends refreshing your Internet browser.

For SWIFT, you may use Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox as your Internet browser. For step-by-step instructions on how to clear the cache, please see the Clearing Browsing History and Cache Quick Reference Guide and Video Tutorial.

New Statewide Cost Code: COVID-19 Employee Testing

SWIFT users may now use the new statewide cost code CET (COVID-19 Employee Testing) to track costs related to COVID-19 testing of employees.

These costs may be eligible for FEMA reimbursement, such as testing facilities, testing contracts, testing supplies in SWIFT, and personnel costs associated with testing administration in SEMA4. (Cost code use is optional but recommended.)
