Alicia Ranney
Before joining MAD in December 2024, Alicia Ranney was the VP of Data and Evaluation at the Metropolitan Alliance of Connected Communities (MACC) where she supported human service nonprofits in understanding their community impact through data, capacity building, database implementation, process mapping, and evaluation. She facilitated cross-sectoral collaborations, emphasizing community and equity in data and evaluation. Her projects covered areas including hunger and basic needs, interpersonal violence intervention and prevention, workforce integration and retention and database interoperability. Prior to MACC, Alicia was Program Coordinator and Evaluator at Pillsbury United Communities and Director at the Minnesota Fair Trade Coalition.
Consulting focus
Alicia specializes in program evaluation, theory of change, process mapping, data visualization, survey design, quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Her favorite evaluation methods are utilization-focused and participatory evaluations.

Educational background
Alicia has a master's degree in social work from Washington University in St. Louis and specialized in research with a concentration in social economic development as well as a bachelor's degree in psychology from Florida State University.
