Senior Management Consultant
Charlie Sellew joined MAD in 2019, bringing a background in program evaluation, planning, and policy analysis. Prior to MAD, Charlie was a Strategy and Analytics consultant in Deloitte’s public sector practice, where he advised federal, state, and higher education clients across the United States.
He has experience across policy areas including human services, education, and economic development. Working with a large federal science agency, a state university system, the mayor’s offices in Detroit and Boston, and the UK’s national tax agency, Charlie has partnered with clients to improve the design and delivery of public services. His work combines qualitative and quantitative analysis with expertise in behavioral economics and human-centered design.
Charlie began his career working in local government in Washington DC. He has a bachelor’s degree in public policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard Kennedy School.
