Human Resource Reports

A suite of reports comprised of Human Resource data are now available in the SWIFT Data Warehouse via OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition), the SWIFT Data Warehouse query and reporting tool. In addition, associated Human Resource subject areas are available for use with OBIEE analysis.

All users who have SWIFT inquiry roles for Human Resource data plus at least one General Warehouse role will have access to the OBIEE Human Resource reports and subject areas through the SWIFT Data Warehouse Access page on the SWIFT Administrative portal.

New OBIEE Human Resource Reports

This suite of linked reports, presented on the new Human Resource OBIEE Statewide dashboard, includes:

  • Active Full-Time/Part-Time Employees
  • AFSCME Eligible for Next Increase Dates
  • Appointment/Leave End Date
  • Current Employee Salary/Appointment
  • Current Filled Positions
  • Current Vacant Positions With Matching Job
  • Current Vacant Positions With No Job
  • Eligible for Retirement Analysis
  • Employees With Multiple Active Appointments
  • Ongoing Employee Hours Measurement
  • Part Time Employee Insurance
  • Rehire/Company Seniority Date
  • Salary Increase/Probation End Date
  • Seniority Roster
  • Vacant Positions

New Human Resource subject areas for OBIEE analysis includes:

Learning - Accomplishment (HCM - Learning - Accomplishment)

The Accomplishment Subject Area contains detailed records about employee accomplishments including education, honors, licenses, certificates, languages and achievements. It includes the employee number, the accomplishment type and description, and information related to the specific accomplishment.

Learning - Person Competency (HCM - Learning - Person Competency)

This subject area holds data about competency evaluation of employees. Competencies are given review ratings for proficiency and interest level.

Workforce - Citizenship and Passport (HCM - Workforce - Citizenship and Passport)

This subject area contains data related to employee's citizenship and passports information.

Workforce - Compensation History (HCM - Workforce - Compensation History)

Data is stored to capture historical compensation rates and changes. Data elements include the effective date of change, the amount of change, the percentage of change, compensation rate and frequency.

Workforce - Driver License (HCM - Workforce - Driver License)

The Driver's License Subject Area contains license information for employees who use state vehicles in their job duties. It includes the employee number, driver's license number, and state of issue, license type, any violations and license expiration dates.

Workforce - Emergency Contact (HCM - Workforce - Emergency Contact)

Emergency Contact Subject area contains information about the emergency contacts for each employee. There can be multiple records per employee on this table, with different phone types.

Workforce - Employee Badge (HCM - Workforce - Employee Badge)

Contains data related to badges assigned to an individual. An employee can have multiple badge ID's/types.

Workforce - Employee Job Current (HCM - Workforce - Employee Job Current)

This area maintains measures related to an employee's current job. It links these to many job-related areas such as person, job, job code, department, position, status, demography, and actions.

Workforce - Employee Job Current (Statewide) (HCM - Workforce - Employee Job Current (Statewide))

This area maintains measures related to an employee's current job. It links these to many job-related areas such as person, job, job code, department, position, status, demography, and actions.

Workforce - Employee Job History (HCM - Workforce - Employee Job History)

This area maintains measures related to an employee's current and historical jobs. It links these to many job-related areas such as person, job, job code, department, position, status, demography, and actions.

Workforce - Employee Job History (Statewide) (HCM - Workforce - Employee Job History (Statewide))

This area maintains measures related to an employee's current and historical jobs. It links these to many job-related areas such as person, job, job code, department, position, status, demography, and actions.

Workforce - Employee Job Notes (HCM - Workforce - Employee Job Notes)

Contains descriptive notes about a specific employee job data transactions.

Workforce - Employee Review (HCM - Workforce - Employee Review)

This subject area reports on employee reviews and identifies the reviewers and their comments.

Workforce - Position Current  (HCM - Workforce - Position Current)

This subject area contains current rows for a position. Defaults to job level in SEMA4. In some cases position data can be overridden on the job record, so job may not always match position. Data shown is record in effect at time of warehouse load.

Workforce - Position History   (HCM - Workforce - Position History)

 This subject area contains data for a position. Defaults to job level in SEMA4. In some cases position data can be overridden on the job record, so job may not always match position. Data includes historical, current and future, effective dated position transactions.

Workforce - Seniority Roster (HCM - Workforce - Seniority Roster) This area contains data to create a seniority roster; by employee ID, employee record, job entry date and job code.
