Agency staff now have the ability to notify bidders to convert to suppliers in the Supplier module. Staff can search for bidders by Bidder ID, Taxpayer Identification Number, and Company Name in the Notify Bidder to Convert page. After they choose an option and select search, SWIFT will display the Bidder ID. Staff can select the contact to email with the request to convert from a “Bidder” status to register for the “Supplier” status in SWIFT. Once the staff identifies a contact and selects the “Send Email” button, they use the “Notify Bidder(s)” button.
SWIFT will send an email to the bidder contact instructing the bidder to log on to the Supplier Portal and complete their supplier registration process.
