Capital Projects Status Report
Minnesota Statutes, Section 16A.501(a) requires a report on expenditure of bond proceeds. The commissioner of management and budget must report annually to the legislature on the degree to which entities receiving appropriations for capital projects in previous omnibus capital improvement acts have encumbered or expended that money. The report must be submitted to the chairs of the house of representatives Ways and Means Committee and the senate Finance Committee by January 1 of each year.
