Hosting Events
Spreading the word about the Combined Charities campaign can take many forms, including newsletter articles, presentations and events. Whether virtual or in person, events offer a unique opportunity to inform, increase participation and add some fun. Virtual events provide flexibility and inclusivity for teams across the state. In-person events, like a bake sale or chili cookoff, foster community and conversation.
A powerful way to enhance your event is by hosting one or more of the charities supported by Combined Charities. Consider inviting a single organization to speak briefly about their mission, or bring together several charitable federations to host information tables and engage your staff in conversation. These encounters turn abstract causes into personal stories and real impact.
If you’re interested in coordinating a charity visit or need help identifying the right organizations to invite, reach out to Jessica Mathias, Combined Charities Federation Representative, at jmathias@oyh.org.
