2027 Benefits for Former Employees with Disabilities (FEWD)

During Open Enrollment, Former Employees with Disabilities (FEWDs) may:

Change between Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota and HealthPartners as the administrator of your medical insurance
Change between Delta Dental Group 216 and HealthPartners Dental as the administrator of your dental insurance.
Add or cancel medical or dental coverage for family members or other dependents.

SEGIP mailed a FEWD Open Enrollment book to each participant. The book incudes forms and instructions. Your deadline is Nov. 18, 2026.

Scam Reminder

Employees have received phone calls in the past where the caller claims to be from SEGIP. These callers ask for personal information or tell employees they must change their benefits. SEGIP will never call and ask an employee or retiree to confirm their sensitive information or tell them they can get coverage elsewhere. Please HANG UP if you receive a call stating they are from the State of Minnesota, Employee Insurance, or SEGIP. Call SEGIP at 651-355-0100 if you have questions about a phone call.
