Your Voice Matters. Engagement and Inclusion Survey.
This month, Minnesota Management and Budget (MMB) is coordinating the biennial engagement survey of executive branch employees to help support a world-class workforce and respectful workplace. The survey will guide us in the recruiting, development, and retention of our greatest asset – our employees.
Organization-wide engagement surveys are a best practice among top employers and help us understand what employees currently think about their work environment. MMB will use the survey results to develop enterprise-wide programming. Agencies will receive agency-level results to use in developing agency-level efforts.
Timing
The survey opened on Monday, Jan. 27. The deadline to take the survey has been extended through Friday, Mar. 7.
Taking the Survey
- Employees with a state email address received a survey invitation in their work email inbox. If you have not received an invitation by Tuesday, Jan. 28, please contact the Management Analysis and Development (MAD) team.
- A link to complete the survey is available on Self Service under Announcements.
- Employees without a state email address should work with their supervisor on how to take the survey at their work location.
- The survey will take about 10-15 minutes to complete.
Privacy
The Management Analysis and Development (MAD) team is administering the survey. Only MAD will know whether you took the survey and how you answered. Your agency will not know who took the survey or who provided which answers. Information that could reasonably be used to identify an individual from their response is considered private data under the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act (Minnesota Statutes § 13.64), meaning MAD will not share it with others except as provided by law. MAD will give agencies a copy of survey data that has no respondent names or other identifying information to make sure no one can identify you by your answers.
