Results Management

The State of Minnesota is committed to using data and research to inform decision making and improve results for Minnesotans. Minnesota Management and Budget’s Results Management team conducts analysis and research that helps our state and local partners make informed decisions. 

On our Results First website, you can:

• identify which publicly funded services in Minnesota have evidence of effectiveness, and
• explore demographic data from the studies that form the evidence base for these services. 

We also conduct analyses and impact evaluations to generate new insights about program effectiveness and opportunities for improvement. On our Impact Evaluation website you can:

• find the results and methods of past studies on the efficacy of state investments in human services
• see what evaluations are ongoing and let us know what should be evaluated in the future
