Congratulations to the new Dept. of Children, Youth and Families, which launched today after being signed into law in 2023. This new cabinet-level agency brings together resources to better serve children, youth, and families across the state. Programs and staff will transfer to the new department between July 2024 and July 2025. This two-year transition process is supported by the leadership and work of the DCYF Implementation Office and the Governor’s Children’s Cabinet, housed here at MMB.
