Today, Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan presented their 2023 Infrastructure Plan, which focuses on asset preservation, expanding access to safe and affordable housing, building safer roads and bridges, repairing critical water systems, and environmental stewardship and equity. This capital budget recommendation includes $1.9 billion in general obligation bonds and $1.4 billion in other funding sources, including appropriation bonds, general fund cash, trunk highway bonds, trunk highway cash, and user-financed bonds.
