COVID-19 Management Appropriation
Laws 2022 Chapter 50, Article 1, Section 1 appropriated $190 million from the general fund to pay for COVID-19 management costs incurred between May 23, 2022 and February 15, 2023. This appropriation is onetime and is available until March 31, 2023.
Eligible costs include:
- Testing
- Vaccinations
- COVID-19 outbreak management
- Local and Tribal health
- Public education
- Health system supports
The Legislative COVID-19 Response Commission reviews expenditures from the appropriation and provides recommendations on any single expenditure request exceeding $2.5 million.
