New Americans are dedicated workers and great employees when they are welcomed into the workforce and are able to share their skills and experience.

Employer across many industry sectors in Minnesota rely on New Americans to meet their staffing need – often without immigrant and refugee workers, some businesses would not be able to operate, let alone grow and thrive.

Each month, the Office of New Americans shines a light on a Minnesota business or other organization that excels at creating a welcoming environment for their employees. The goal is to share their successful strategies for recruiting, hiring, and keeping talent in the workforce. This information is a useful resource for all participants, which includes, state agencies, workforce development service providers, community-based organizations, and job seekers throughout Minnesota.
