Deborah Gleason, AKA The Information Tamer, lives in Minnetonka, though not near the lake. She was born with low vision, ocular albinism, severe astigmatism, and a lack of depth perception. She also experiences neurodivergence, though not formally diagnosed.
Deborah is a strategic executor by trade, using data, analytics, process, documentation, and planning to help businesses become sustainable. She has a strong passion for nonprofits and entrepreneurs and brings a lens of accessibility and independent living to all she does.
She is the Past Chair of the Minnesota Statewide Independent Living Council and currently serves on that council, the Governor’s Workforce Development Board, the State Rehabilitation Council and the Access and Functional Needs Committee.
For fun, Deborah is a puzzle nut who loves math and logic problems, is an avid learner across a wide range of topics and is always listening to music. She also writes blogs that cover everything from business to personal reflections. Her singing escapades include performing with a choir at Carnegie Hall, singing the National Anthem at two Minnesota Twins games, participating in a spiritual choir, and regularly trying to out-sing her Bluetooth speaker.
