Charge

This committee exists to recommend specific strategies for increasing and improving services to individuals from marginalized groups to assure the full participation of all marginalized groups throughout the vocational rehabilitation process. This committee will provide input to the Customer Satisfaction, Goals, and Priorities Committee and the full Council for consideration in the development of annual goals and priorities in conjunction with SSB and will monitor those goals and priorities throughout the year.

The product of this committee must include an annual report to the full Council containing specific strategies for increasing and improving services to individuals from marginalized backgrounds.

Membership

With the approval of the SRC-B, the Council chairperson shall appoint members and a chairperson for this committee. This committee shall consist of no more than seven persons. Every effort shall be made, to the extent possible, to include at least one person representing each of the following:

Two Council members, one of whom is the Council member representing the directors of the American Indian Vocational Rehabilitation Services projects in the state, if serving.
