An employer must have a certificate of incorporation to be considered an “eligible employer” for the ERAF program. Employers that do not have a certificate of incorporation are not eligible employers. Like other employers, government entities that do not have a certificate of incorporation are not eligible employers.
Yes. While ERAF was initially launched as a two-year pilot program running through June 30, 2025, the program remains active because we still have funds available. DEED will continue to accept applications, process reimbursement requests, and offer technical assistance until all remaining funds are fully expended. Employers are encouraged to apply while funding is still available.
