Introductory Career Services

School Staff: Only register students enrolled in VRS Introductory Career Services (ICS).

VR Counselors: Only register students enrolled in VRS Full Career Services (FCS).

Not sure which type of service your student is enrolled in? Contact us at vrs.studentclasses@state.mn.us. 

1. Review the class options and click the Register Now button for the class that best fits your student(s).
   
   
2. Select a date and time that works for the student(s).
   
   
3. Scroll down and enter your information in the first section. 
   
   
4. Complete the form and click the Book button. Submit a single registration with one or more students. You will receive an email confirming the registration immediately with the join link. The student(s) will receive them after the submission is processed by our staff. 
   
   
5. Highly Recommended: Submit an additional registration using your information in the first section. This will give you the same reminder emails, calendar invite, and the join link for the class.

1. Click the Join Link
   Tap or click the meeting link in the class reminder email.
   
2. Choose "Join on the Web"
   If the student doesn't have the Microsoft Teams app, select "Continue on this browser".
3. Enter Name and Select Allow Camera/Mic to Use in Class
   Type Name
   Select Allow to use Video and Audio
   Click Join Now
   
4. Recommendation: Coordinate with the School’s IT Department
   Microsoft Teams guest access is enabled for external participants
   Firewall settings allow Microsoft Teams functionality, including video and audio features
   Emails from external domains (such as class invitations) won't be blocked or filtered.

   Confirms if your student attended

   Short cut: Skip steps 2 and 3 by using the button below:

2. Tap or click the Log In on the site in the upper right corner
   In the dropdown menu select Pathful
   Click Login and Select Pathful
3. Search and Select, "Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development"
   
4. Enter Username and Password, Select Sign In
   
5. Forgot Your Username and Password?
   Students:
   Default Username: Your email address
   Default Password: Pathful101
   Select the Forgot Password? link to reset your password
   
6. Go to the Pathful Help Center for More Support
   Pathful Help Center

1. Click the Zoom Link
   Tap or click the meeting link in the class reminder email.
   

2. Enter Name and Allow Camera Use

3. Wait in the Lobby Until Class Begins

Check with the School IT Department

• Confirm with your IT department that Zoom guest access is allowed and firewalls won’t block Zoom
• Ensure the student has access to laptop or device with a webcam
• Ensure the student can receive invites and reminder emails to join the class
