From bustling main streets to homegrown startups, these businesses are the foundation of our local economies, and they deserve to be celebrated.

That's why we're continuing to celebrate another year of the Season of Small Business, a statewide effort to spotlight the entrepreneurs, makers and risk-takers who power our state's economy. Whether you're a business owner, community leader or local shopper, there are so many ways to get involved.

Small businesses make up 99.5% of Minnesota businesses and employ nearly half our workforce. When you support a small business you're investing in your neighbors, your community and our shared future.

The Office of Small Business and Innovation at DEED offers a range of resources and programs designed to offer expertise and guidance to entrepreneurs and business owners. Our goal is to create an environment where small businesses can easily connect to the resources they need to thrive in today's ever-evolving business landscape.
