Immigrant and Refugee Affairs Forum Information

The purpose of the New Americans Forum is to connect state and local leaders, with immigrant and refugee communities. New Americans Forums help close the communication gap, share resources, and discuss policies to help remove barriers to immigrant and refugee integration in Minnesota communities and the state economy.

The New Americans Forum is:

  1. A safe space for immigrants and refugees in Minnesota to come together and unite their efforts and voices towards economic opportunities, education, and social justice.
  2. A place for immigrants and refugees to receive information on state and local resources and updates on policies and services.
  3. A way for immigrant and refugee advocates to network and collaborate.
