Regitine (phentolamine) may be used alone for during the surgical removal of a phaechromocytoma, a rare tumour of the adrenal gland to prevent or reverse a dangerous rise in blood pressure. It may also be used as a diagnostic test for an adrenal tumour.
Phentolamine and papaverine have been used in combination and injected (intracavernosal injection) as adjunctive therapy for impotence.
These drugs may be approved for any indication OTHER THAN erectile dysfunction or impotence.
Not approved for the used of erectile dysfunction or impotence.
