Serving people under humanitarian protection 

The Resettlement Programs Office supports the effective resettlement of people under humanitarian protection. You are eligible for services if you currently have any of the below statuses and have had them for the last five years or less. Eligible people include:

  • Refugees
  • Asylees
  • Iraqi and Afghan Special Immigrant Visa Holders
  • Certified Victims of Trafficking
  • Amerasians
  • Cuban/Haitian Entrants
  • Afghan Humanitarian Parolees with valid (unexpired) parole
  • Ukrainian Humanitarian Parolees with valid (unexpired) parole
