Responsibilities may include: Supervise and provide leadership for the overall administrative operations across current DSW programs to envision systems, policy and procedural changes which have the potential to improve internal operations of Provider Eligibility and Compliance as well as the Medicaid Payments and Provider Services Division. Provide supervision, expertise and discretion regarding the staff, services, functions, and decisions of the DSW services team within Medicaid Payments and Provider Services Division. Supervise a mix of data management, eligibility, enrollment operations and accountability functions associated with providers enrolling, dis-enrolling and billing for services in the Medicaid Program. Supervise unit operations needed to assist health care providers participating in Minnesota's Medicaid Program.

This position will develop, design, establish and maintain a central electronic eligibility forms inventory, with detailed business needs documentation for all the Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP) eligibility forms (applications, renewals, supplements, information gathering forms, flyers, brochures, and fact sheets) under HCEA?s purview. This position will also create and maintain a historical forms archive and an evaluation calendar for each Medical Assistance, Medicare Savings Programs, MinnesotaCare, and Minnesota Family Planning Program form owned by HCEA. The second function is to serve as an HCEA User Experience Forms Subject Matter Expert and Forms Developer to ensure that the design and content of each eligibility form is user friendly, culturally appropriate, and meets the business need. The position will conduct user research and testing, engage focus groups and interact regularly with stakeholders to gather input and feedback to ensure new forms and updates to existing forms meet specific business needs, effectively deliver the information intended, and promote positive interactions with applicants and enrollees. In partnership with others, this position will develop, employ, and enforce a set of user experience centered best practices to continuously improve Minnesota Health Care Programs eligibility forms.
