The Health Care Eligibility Policy Analyst position is responsible for analyzing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP) eligibility policies, including Medical Assistance (Minnesota?s Medicaid program), MinnesotaCare and the Minnesota Family Planning Program. This position conducts analysis of federal and state legal authorities governing MHCP, maintains and updates the Eligibility Policy Manual, drafts bulletins, policy documents, issue memos and other communications about policy changes, and responds to inquiries from state, county, and Tribal partners about health care eligibility policy.
