What is METS?

METS is the IT system that determines Minnesotans' eligibility for Medical Assistance, MinnesotaCare or tax credits to help pay for a private health insurance plan, among other things. Access the METS application through the MNsure log-in page.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Requirement

Multi-factor authentication is required to access the METS application for all users (not consumers).

Email Multi-Factor Authentication

Currently, METS users have the option to select email as an MFA option when they log into the METS system.

Oracle Mobile Authenticator

An approved MFA solution to access METS is Oracle Mobile Authenticator (OMA). It generates a PIN that will be used as a multi-factor authentication option for accessing the METS application. The current version of Oracle Mobile Authenticator is compatible with a Windows 10 desktop.
