Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP) Provider Resource Center

The best way for providers to contact MHCP with enrollment, claims and policy questions is to call the MHCP Provider Resource Center. Calling the MHCP Provider Resource Center ensures secure management of private data.

Minnesota Provider Screening and Enrollment (MPSE) portal: A weekly MPSE Question and Answer session is available by visiting the MPSE portal training page. Question and Answer sessions are every Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m.

To reach a resource center representative with questions about billing, MN–ITS transactions, coverage policy and payment

Press 0, then one of the following:
Press 1 to enter a national provider identifier (NPI)
Press 2 to enter a unique Minnesota provider identifier (UMPI)
Press 3 if you are not currently an enrolled provider.

You may be placed in the call line or directed to select one of the following options:
Option 1: Nursing facilities, dental, transportation, outpatient mental health, eyeglasses, contacts and eye exams
Option 2: Pharmacy, equipment and supplies, hearing aids, chiropractic, personal care assistants, Community First Services and Supports
Option 3: Rehab therapy, hospice, lab, physician, hospital, IEP, family planning services
Option 4: Home care, waiver services, chemical dependency services
