Disability Benefits 101 is a comprehensive benefits and work-planning website created for people with disabilities under age 65, their families, caregivers and professionals. DB101 acts as a key resource to support a larger system change the Disability Services Division is undertaking to help people with disabilities make work a part of the plan.

People with disabilities have choices when it comes to work. Use DB101.org to explore options, learn about work incentives and reach employment goals. Disability Services Division Stakeholder E-List

The Disability Services Division (DSD) Stakeholder E-List is used to send information by email to a large group of people. This list is open to advocates, consumers, counties, DHS staff, disability organizations, legislators, providers, tribes and others who wish to be part of the group. There is no charge to be on the list.

The Disability Services Division Stakeholder E-list broadcasts announcements only. Subscribers are not able to reply to emails or use the list to provide feedback to DSD. If you need more information or would like to talk to someone about the announcement, use the contact information provided with each announcement. The Disability Services Division Stakeholder E-List will announce:

  • Email addresses for public comments when applicable
  • Links to the DHS website when applicable
  • New or changed policy
  • Potential policy changes
  • Training information
  • Other announcements as needed

Emergency and community health outreach

ECHO Emergency and Community Health Outreach produces monthly public TV shows on channel 17. These shows address health and safety issues for limited English proficiency populations. Past programs have been about Early Childhood Screening, Avian Flu and Birds, Avian Flu and Pandemic, HIV and AIDS Awareness and How to Use 911. Information is currently offered through Web pages, television, phone and e-mail in English, Khmer, Somali, Vietnamese, Lao, Spanish and Hmong languages.

Minnesotans have a single source on the Internet to access state agency programs, products and services dedicated to disability issues. Disability Minnesota has more than 220 links, each with a brief description of a program, product or service offered by various state agencies. Site users can locate resources in any of four ways:
