Human services projects part of governor’s bonding proposal

Gov. Mark Dayton and Lt. Gov. Tina Smith today proposed a Jobs Bill that would invest $1.5 billion in community infrastructure projects statewide. The proposal includes investments in important human services projects, including $70.3 million for the renovation and expansion of the Minnesota Security Hospital in St. Peter, $7.5 million to build a new psychiatric hospital facility in Willmar and $2.3 million for safety and security upgrades at the Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center.
