Microsoft (MS) Teams Meetings provides a rich set of features for web conferencing from computers or smart devices. Features include screen sharing, chat, whiteboarding, meeting recording, breakout rooms, etc. MS Teams Meetings provides a toll dial-in number for meeting participants and can serve up to 1000 participants in a single meeting.
MS Teams Meetings is included in the Enterprise End User Software Bundle that is already available at no additional cost to users with a computing device and a state.mn.us email address.
MS Teams Meetings is the state’s preferred application for web conferencing and online meetings.
Microsoft Teams Live Events allows users to broadcast live video streaming to large online audiences for events such as webinars. This application is an extension of Microsoft Teams Meetings. The event host leads the interaction and participants cany view content shared by the host. MS Teams Meetings can accommodate up to 20,000 attendees in a single event.
MS Teams Meetings is included in the Enterprise End User Software Bundle that is already available at no additional cost to users in Executive and Non-Executive Branch agencies with a computing device and a state.mn.us email address.
MS Teams Live Events is the state’s preferred application for broadcasting video and media content to large audiences.
Webex (Webex Meetings and Webex Webinars) is available at an additional charge for Agencies that require it.
A Webex account allows users to access both Webex Meetings and Webex Webinars.
Webex Meetings provides web conferencing from computers or smart devices.
Webex Webinars allows users to broadcast video and media content to large online audiences.
MNIT offers two types of Webex accounts:
Webex Toll and Toll-Free Account:Includes both a toll and toll-free dial-in number for meeting participants.
Webex Toll Account: Includes only a toll dial-in number for meeting participants and has a lower monthly cost for the account. All other features are the same as the Webex Toll and Toll-Free Account.
