Modern fiscal mapping strengthens oversight of substance use disorder funds

This initiative transforms Minnesota’s substance use disorder (SUD) fiscal mapping from a static, labor-intensive reporting exercise into a dynamic, sustainable decision-support capability that empowers leaders to act quickly, strategically, and equitably. By converting existing SUD funding data into an accessible Power BI dashboard with supporting data infrastructure, the Office of Addiction and Recovery will unlock the full value of prior investments and significantly improve how the state manages and protects critical SUD resources.
