Bob Bennett is the Chief Business Technology Officer (CBTO) for the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT). Bob started with MnDOT as a student worker in 1989 and has held numerous positions there, most recently as Application Operations Director. His career also includes time away from MnDOT consulting for IT and Engineering firms and positions in the State of Minnesota Intertechnologies Group (predecessor to MNIT). Past roles include Business Analyst, engineering systems support, network architect, systems programmer, and various management roles.
Bob brings strong values of practicality and collaboration to the role and looks forward to building on past relationships and forming new ones. Bob has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from ISC(2).
