Injured Worker System Upgrade

The initiative aims to streamline processes, reduce navigation complexity, and provide comprehensive, easily accessible information. The objective is to offer a unified view of workers' compensation claims and related matters within Campus. This single-screen approach will minimize the number of steps and screens required to complete tasks, simplifying daily operations and enabling users to manage their responsibilities more effectively and efficiently.

Success will be measured by improved accessibility and usability of Campus for all users, including the Department of Labor and Industry. Users should be able to meet statutory obligations with greater ease and navigate the system intuitively. The reduction in steps and screens will lead to a more streamlined process, supported by enhanced reporting and dashboards. These improvements will facilitate more effective workload management and foster greater usability, likability, and trust in the Campus system.

Value: Investments in this work will streamline user interactions by reducing clicks and time spent in the system, providing focused screens with essential information, minimizing the risk of inaccuracies, decreasing data updates, and lowering the need for help desk support.

Impact: Campus system enhancements that improve external user satisfaction and experience by adding functionality, dashboards, and reports with a streamlined process and single screen view of a workers’ compensation claim.
