Video Conferencing Device Service

This service supports cloud-connected Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) devices and traditional video conferencing devices using the Cisco Room operating system. This service offering includes the following:

• Microsoft Teams or Cisco Webex (for traditional device setup) cloud license.
• Integration with M365 or Webex Control Hub environments.
• Enables booking meeting through Outlook.
• One Button to Push (OBTP) to start a meeting.
• Device security and patching.
• Support and troubleshooting for device integrations and connectivity.
• Support for Yealink, Logitech, and Cisco devices.
• Training and regular office hours for customers.
• Video Conferencing SME group for agency leads.

Conferencing Professional Services includes the following: 

• MNIT staff support to help design videoconference rooms. This ensures the systems and equipment procured from vendors will function within the state’s technical environment, and will meet agency needs from an operational and support perspective. 
• Assistance on an as-needed basis for work efforts outside of normal support due to their size, scope, timing, or complexity

• MNIT maintains contracts with multiple videoconference equipment vendors. Agencies are encouraged to use these vendors for procuring equipment. 
• Visit the Office of State Procurement website (requires log in) for information about the current set of vendors.

• Customers must procure devices through contracted vendors.
• Includes video endpoints and peripherals (microphones, monitors, etc.).
• Device physical installation (typically using contracted vendors)
• Support for custom configurations provided by third party vendors.
• Hardware maintenance.
• MNIT Network Video staff can provide assistance at an hourly rate including conference room design.
