ST. PAUL, Minn. (Oct. 5, 2026) — Minnesota IT Services (MNIT) launched Minnesota’s Cybersecurity Knowledge Portal, a centralized website created to help strengthen cybersecurity resilience across the state.
The Cybersecurity Knowledge Portal — a collaborative effort between MNIT and the Minnesota Cybersecurity Task Force — provides practical tools, educational resources, and state-aligned guidance for local governments, critical infrastructure, Tribal Nations, schools, businesses, community organizations, and Minnesotans.
“Whether you manage technology, lead an organization, teach students, serve the public, or protect your own information, you should have cybersecurity guidance that’s easy to find, understand, and use. This portal brings that guidance and information together in one place to help you take action and stay safer online,” said John Israel, Minnesota Chief Information Officer, MNIT Assistant Commissioner, and Chairman of the Cybersecurity Task Force.

Additional resources, information, and events will be added to the Cybersecurity Knowledge Portal in the coming months to help entities strengthen their cyber defenses.
“By bringing trusted cybersecurity information together in one place, the Cybersecurity Knowledge Portal helps organizations and individuals reduce cyber risk, improve preparedness, and build a safer, more cyber resilient Minnesota,” Israel said.
