Enterprise Translations Office

Welcome to the Enterprise Translations Office (ETO) — the linguistic bridge connecting Minnesota’s government services with our diverse communities. Established under the mandate of Minnesota Statute 16B.373, the ETO is a centralized and specialized translation services provider dedicated to breaking down language barriers and ensuring that all Minnesotans have equal access to vital information and services. With a focus on Spanish, Hmong, and Somali languages, the ETO also provides translation support for all other languages. The ETO is the State Government’s trusted partner for translation excellence.

Mission

At the Enterprise Translations Office (ETO), our mission is to provide Executive Branch agencies of Minnesota with translation services that are precise, timely, and culturally attuned. We are dedicated to removing language as a barrier to accessing state services, ensuring seamless and equitable communication. We empower state agencies to effectively connect with and serve all communities by embracing and celebrating Minnesota's rich linguistic diversity.
