The building is located on the corner of Kellogg Boulevard West and John Ireland Boulevard. The main entrance is on the History Center entrance driveway (some maps show this as Mulberry Street).
The parking lot entrance is off Kellogg Boulevard. Daily parking is $6 (History Center members receive a discounted rate when they show their card). Event rates may apply for special programs or when events occur downtown. Public and disability access is at the front entrance off John Ireland Boulevard. Limited disability parking is available free of charge (with permit) at the parking meters when you pull into the History Center entrance driveway. Additional disability parking is available for a fee in the parking lot.
The loading dock is located northeast of the Minnesota History Center, enter on the History Center entrance driveway. Loading dock can accommodate straight trucks and semi-tractor trailers up to a trailer length of 53 feet.
The Café Minnesota is located to the east of the main lobby on the ground floor and offers ready-made sandwiches, canned beverages, bags of chips, etc. Grab-n-go Hours: Wednesday through Saturday, 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM and Sunday, 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM.
