Data Practices

The Data Practices Office (DPO) provides technical assistance and consultation on Minnesota’s Data Practices Act, the Open Meeting law, and other information policy laws. The office offers training on the requirements of these laws and assists the Commissioner of Administration with statutory duties under the Data Practices Act. The office also provides legislative assistance by tracking legislation and changes related to government information policy.
