Professional/ Technical Course Listings
Scheduled trainings are live presentations (virtual or in-person). Most of these require registration.
Registration for these trainings will be completed in the Learning area (ELM) of Self Service. Please refer to the instructions and course codes. P/T Foundations
PT Foundations is a series of four online courses that provide a high-level overview of Professional/Technical (P/T) contracting. The series includes an optional workshop and allows participants to take individual classes or complete the full series.
Amendments
This course covers the fundamentals of drafting contract amendments, including key issues, legal requirements, and best practices.
Contracts Management 101
This course covers the basics of managing a P/T contract, including creating and using a contract management plan and practical tools for effective oversight. Building on Contract Management 101, participants can choose to attend an optional hands-on workshop that guides them through real-world challenges and risk mitigation.
Contract, RFP & SOW Drafting
This class provides practical tips for drafting RFPs and contract terms to promote clear understanding and reduce future disputes.
One Day Mini Marathon
This course builds essential contract management skills, covering how to draft amendments, write clear RFPs and contract terms, and manage Professional and Technical contracts effectively. Participants will also learn key negotiation strategies to handle real-world challenges and reduce risk.
Negotiations Basics
This course offers a foundational introduction to the principles and practices of contract negotiation.
