    Register for the 2017 MN Safety Conference and Save Money!

    The Department of Administration's Risk Management Division (RMD) is saving you and the state money again this year by coordinating registration to the 2017 MN Safety and Health Conference on May 16-18, 2017.

    State employees registering through RMD by the April 17, 2017, deadline will be able to attend at the early bird group discount rates as follows:

    • Full three-day conference – $350
    • On-day, Tuesday or Wednesday – $200
    • Thursday Only – $150

    The Minnesota Safety Conference offers a wide variety of safety sessions for all levels of your organization. Please encourage managers, supervisors, line staff and safety committee members to attend! Information gained at the conference can help your organization meet its MNSAFE injury reduction goals!


    Apply For and Receive Governor's Safety Award and Save Even More!

    Did you know workplaces receiving a Governor's Safety Award are eligible for an even greater conference discount!

    So why not apply for an award, be recognized, and save even more on your conference attendance! Applications for the Governor's Safety Awards are due February 10, 2017.

    Agencies will be notified by the end of February if they are receiving an award. So if you have applied for an award, wait and see if you will receive an award before registering with us for the conference.


    How to Register with RMD

    Steps to follow:

    • Follow your agency's conference approval process and purchasing policies.
    • Share the following purchase order and payment information with your purchasing staff:

    • Complete the two-page /admin/assets/2017%20blank%20registration%20fillable%20form%20final%202_tcm36-284546.pdfRegistration Form (One attendee per form)
    • Create an accounts payable cover letter to include: name, phone number, agency, billing address, and email of person responsible for processing payment
    • Send completed registration forms, P.O., and accounts payable cover letter to James Kubisiak at James.Kubisiak@state.mn.us or by fax to (651)-297-5471.

    An email confirmation will be sent within 2 business days of submitting your registration. Contact us if you do not receive a registration confirmation.

    Note: Do not process payments to the MN Safety Council – The Department of Administration will invoice your agency directly.


    Cancellation

    Cancellations and refunds are only possible prior to close of business, April 17, 2017.
