State Surplus Public Auction to be held in Grand Rapids this Saturday, Dec. 7

Sale includes vehicles, tractors, trailers, boats, ATVs, snowmobiles and more

ST. PAUL -The State of Minnesota will auction approximately 80 cars and trucks, various dump trucks, plow trucks and tractors by International, John Deere and others, equipment trailers and trailer packages, miscellaneous skid steer attachments, and much more this Saturday, Dec. 7 in Grand Rapids.

The gates open for inspection and registration at 8 a.m. at the DNR Headquarters at 1201 E. Highway 2 in Grand Rapids. Bidding begins at about 9:30 a.m. Inspection starts at 8:30 a.m. All items are sold as-is, where-is; sales are final and must be settled in full with cash or personal check the day of the auction.

Convenient, quick and easy registration and bidding numbers are available online. The only requirements are a computer with an internet connection and a printer. Simple instructions are on the 'Auctions' link of the Surplus Services website at www.mnsurplus.org. Current customers of the state's MinnBid internet auction service can get a bidding card online in just seconds.

Saturday's auction will be the final live auction for the 2013 state auction season. The state conducts about 12 surplus goods auctions each year and also sells surplus continuously online at www.minnbid.org. An auction calendar and preliminary list of items is available on MinnBid.
