This fall Governor Walz and his Cabinet demonstrated their commitment to workplace safety by continuing MnSAFE and signing the MnSAFE commitment statement. Since MnSAFE’s inception in 2012, there have been 3,100 fewer employee injuries.

Governor Walz shares his commitment to an injury-free workplace and the expectation that everyone is accountable for their safety and the safety of others in his recently released MnSAFE video. He tasks all of us to:

• Avoid short cuts for the purpose of productivity,
• Utilize safety training that has been provided,
• And if you see something unsafe, say something!
