Drew Schaefer
Senior Research Analyst
Drew Schaefer is a senior research analyst in the Minnesota State Demographic Center. Drew received his doctorate in applied demography from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2026. At UTSA Drew’s research interests included county-level working-age life expectancy, weighted center of population methodologies, and subjective life expectancy. Drew joined the State Demographic Center in July of 2026.
