Recently, two models of Kidde smoke alarms were recalled because a yellow cap left on during the manufacturing process can cover one of the two smoke sensors and compromise the alarm’s ability to detect smoke.

Please check your smoke alarm inventory for affected models and replace by following the recall directions.
