    Lack of seatbelt use is a contributing factor in about 40 percent of all Minnesota fatalities. Three seconds -- that's all it takes to put on a seat belt.

    For 91 Minnesota motorists in 2015, not taking those three seconds cost them their lives. Wearing a seat belt is not optional, it's the law.
