In January 2017 Federal OSHA implemented a new rule for Walking-Working Surfaces and Fall Protection in General Industry.
Minnesota OSHA announced the adoption of the final rule on September 19, 2017.
The new rule will benefit employers by providing greater flexibility in choosing fall protection systems.
The new rule updates and clarifies changes and add new requirements to the standard. Listed below are some of the updated requirement:
