Week 4 – Don't Just Sit There (Focusing on Ergonomics)
According to studies, eighty percent of Americans will suffer from some type of back-related issue.
If you are not already, it is time to start following proper lifting techniques by flexing your knees when you lift, getting a firm grip, testing the weight of the load and keeping your back straight. Avoid lifting with your back in a C-curve.
Please also take the time to evaluate your workstation or ask someone to assist you in evaluating your workstation to ensure proper fit.
Try this 30/30/30 rule at work. For 30 days, stand every 30 minutes and stretch or walk around for 30 seconds.
Please share these tips and information with all employees.
