Kemal Munn new State Safety Coordinator

Kemal Munn has joined the Risk Management Division as our new State Safety Coordinator. Kemal fills the position vacated by Sandra Bauer.

Kemal holds a Master of Science degree in Risk Control (Environmental Health and Safety) and a Master in Business Administration. Kemal comes to us with over 10 years of experience working as a Safety Engineer in general Industry. Kemal has experience in developing and implementing safety programs, and identify and finding solutions to complex safety issues.

Kemal’s primary tasks will be to:

• Work across state government in support of the MnSAFE initiative to reduce workplace injuries.
• Support the statewide safety perception survey planned for this spring and early summer. 
• Consult with you on any work place safety related issues you may be struggling with.
