April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month

The National Safety Council has identified April as Distracted Driving Awareness Month and is making information and resources available to employers. This year's theme is 'Take Back Your Drive' and focus on cell phone use -- including hands-free use. Studies reviewed by the National Safety Council shows that hands-free use doesn't make cell phone use safer because the brain remains distracted by the conversation.
