Saint Paul — Members of the public are invited to bid on a variety of surplus goods at a State of Minnesota auction on Saturday, August 17th, 2019 in Arden Hills, MN. The auction will include about 175 cars and trucks, Sterling plow/dump truck, John Deere mower tractors including Pro Gator, Caterpillar skid steer, Clark/White forklifts, Murray/Exmark/Kubota riding mowers, Toro Z500 mower, Polaris 500 ATV, Kubota UTV, Felling/EZ Loader/Addco/Wards & United trailers, Spartan/Lowe boat trailer pkg., Mercury & Johnson outboard motors, Elgin sweeper, trailer mount air compressor, Hotsy/Jenny pressure washers, Cobra jack hammers, Sefac 15K hoist, auto repair shop equipment, office supplies and equipment and much more. The auction opens for inspection and registration at 8 a.m. Bidding begins at about 9:30 a.m. at the Department of Administration Fleet and Surplus Services building at 5420 Old Highway 8 – on the southeast corner of Interstate 35W and County Road I in Arden Hills. All items are sold as-is, where-is; all sales are final and must be settled in full with cash or personal check the day of the auction. A government issued picture ID is required. 

Convenient, quick and easy registration and bidding numbers are available online. The only requirements are a computer with an internet connection and a printer. Simple instructions are on the ‘Auctions’ link of the Surplus Services website, at www.mnsurplus.org. Current customers of the state’s MinnBid internet auction service can get a bidding card online in just seconds. The state conducts about 12 surplus goods auctions each year and also sells surplus items continuously online at www.minnbid.org.
