Commissioner Matt Massman, as Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Council's Contracting Practices Committee, released the following statement today on Governor Dayton's creation of a State Chief Inclusion Officer position and the appointment of James C. Burroughs II:
"I look forward to working with Mr. Burroughs as we make state government a great place to work and do business for all Minnesotans," said Commissioner Matt Massman. "As the state's new Chief Inclusion Officer, Mr. Burroughs will bring a wealth of experience, insight and leadership to the state's ongoing diversity and inclusion efforts. I want to thank the community members who provided great advice and guidance during the interview process."
