Create a Toggle page

Create a Headline and Introduction for the Page

The first thing to build for an Toggle page is a General Content component with the headline and introductory text for the page, highlighted in red below. Below are the steps for creating this component:

1. In the 020 section, navigate to the folder where the components for your Toggle page will reside.
2. Create a new component and complete the following fields:
   1. Name: enter a name for the component here
   2. Schema: select General Content
   3. Title: enter the headline for your Toggle page here. 
   4. Content: enter the introductory text that will go at the top of your page. This is a rich-text field, so you can add other elements like images, links, etc.

Create the Toggle components

Toggles are made with Toggle List Item components, which are simple components with just a few fields to complete:

1. In the 020 section, navigate to the folder where the components for your Toggle page will reside.
2. Create a new component and complete the following fields:
   1. Name: enter a name for the component here
   2. Schema: select Toggle List Item
   3. Title: enter the link name for the toggle
   4. Body content: enter the content of your toggle item. This is a rich-text field that accepts images, links, font styling, and more.

Save and Close the toggle item when complete. 

Repeat this step as needed for each tab that will appear on the page.

Create Toggle List Section Headings

If you want to insert text either between toggles or underneath them, like section in red shown below, you'll have to create a General Content component and apply a Toggle List Section Heading component template to it. Instructions are provided below.

1. In the 020 section, navigate to the folder where the Toggle components (created in step 2) reside.
2. Create a new component and complete the following fields:
   1. Name: enter a name for the component here
   2. Schema: select General Content
   3. Title: enter the headline for your section heading here. 
   4. Content: enter the text that will go in this section. This is a rich-text field, so you can add other elements like images, links, etc.

Save and Close the component when complete. 

Repeat this step as needed for additional Toggle List Section Headings that will appear on the page.

Create the Toggle Page

1. In the 050 section, navigate to (or create) the structure group where the Toggle page will reside.
2. Create a new page.
3. Fill in the Name, File Name, Page Display Name, Dublin Core Title, and Dublin Core Description fields.
4. For the Page Template field, uncheck "Inherit from Parent." Then, in the drop-down menu for the field, select Toggle List.
5. Click the Design tab.
6. Click the Add button:
   1. Navigate to the General Content component you created in step 1, select it, apply the Page Introduction component template, and insert it into the page.
   2. Navigate to the Toggle components you created in step 2, select all of them, apply the Toggle component template to all, and insert them into the page.
   3. (optional) Navigate to the General Content component(s) you created in step 3, select it, apply the Toggle List Section Heading component template, and insert it into the page.
   4. (optional) Re-arrange your components as needed, so that the Toggle List Section Headings are located where you want them to be.
7. Close the Insert Component Presentation pop-up window.
8. Save and Close your Toggle page.

Publish the Toggle Page

When you've completed all the steps above, then all you need to do next is publish your Toggle page.

Navigate to the Toggle page you built in step 3, right-click on it and select Publishing > Publish.

Select the site you wish to publish to and click Publish. This will send the page to the publishing queue.
